About Me

Award-winning professional, Jennifer Todd, is a 15-year construction veteran. She was the youngest Black woman to acquire California’s CSLB General Engineering (A) license. Today, she is the President of LMS General Contractors. There, she is responsible for LMS’s management team along with its execution & strategic growth. LMS performs demolition, remediation, and environmental services across the Southeast and California.

 

A strong advocate for job creation and workforce development, she is the Founder of A Greener Tomorrow, an apprenticeship program geared toward advancing unemployed and underemployed people of color. The program creates living wage construction jobs for men and women to work.

 

She has been featured on the cover of Construction Business Owner magazine, in Engineering News-Record magazine, and a host of news outlets & podcasts. Respected by her industry peers, Jennifer Todd has been recognized as a 2020 ENR Newsmaker, 2020 CBO Outstanding Women in Construction finalist, 2021 ENR 20 Under 40 Professional, and 2021 ENR Southeast Top Young Professional.

 

Jennifer Todd is a graduate of Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and there she earned a Master of Legal Studies. She received a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University in Community Psychology, a minor in Business, and holds a Project Management certificate from Emory University.
