Mia is a multi-passionate creative with a deep-rooted passion for the skilled trades and a strong commitment to wellness and mental health advocacy. Her journey into the construction world came through unique experiences as a support professional. From working in a steel fabrication plant as an Office Manager to diving into the marketing world of heavy equipment, Mia continuously found opportunities to expand her roles, incorporating her artistic background and creative thinking. 

Prior to founding McGlynn Media, LLC, Mia spent years gaining invaluable insights into the blue-collar world, honing her administrative and organizational skills. Throughout her career, she has served in safety, operations, marketing, and even technical processes like nesting steel plate. However, what Mia values most from these experiences is the deep admiration and respect she developed for the people behind the often unseen work. She enjoys finding new ways to highlight and support the future of the trades workforce. 

Through McGlynn Media, Mia brings her expertise as a photographer and designer to life, working with various industries while also developing children’s books that empower young minds and spotlight trades like heavy equipment. When time allows, Mia works on passion projects such as “Building Blue Collar”, a video series she hopes to grow into a library of content highlighting various careers and small businesses within the trades. Additionally, she shares wellness practices like Reiki energy work to help others reduce stress and improve overall wellness.
