Ryan was born and raised in Scottsbluff, Ne. and has lived there most of his life (with the exception of a 6 month period where he lived in Phoenix, AZ). He has been around the construction industry his entire life, is a 4th generation operator and was quite literally raised in the office of his grandfather’s construction company. He started out driving tractors on his uncle’s farm at 7 years old- working weekends and summers. His dad started his own company in 1998 and Ryan started learning how to run the heavy equipment and moving dirt at age eleven. He has loved equipment his entire life and has been working full-time in the dirt world since the day after high school graduation. He has held every position from laborer to superintendent for several different companies in heavy highway and civil construction including experience with mass grading, underground utilities, concrete construction, and iron work. Currently, he is a Grading Foreman with Sporer Land Development Inc. out of Oakley, KS, doing heavy highway construction.
