Kate is a project manager for a general contractor in the Metro Atlanta area. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008 with a degree in Building Construction, however she experienced her first project as an intern in 2005; she was immediately enamored with the industry and all of the opportunity it provided. After four internships during summers in college, which she attributes to the majority of her learning about the industry, she graduated and immediately started working for one of the largest contractors in the US. After 12 years in the heavy/civil industry, she decided to find a new challenge within the industry. In her current role, Kate manages several “Build to Rent” projects and new pursuits within Catamount Constructors newest business sector.
